Dear User,

Welcome to Jolicraft! If you're reading this you are either having a problem figuring out how to get Jolicraft to work properly, are curious what is going on under the hood, or are bored and decided to look through random zips on your computer. I will try to accomodate all these needs.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCITONS
===========================
Easy Installation:
 Download the jolicrat zip (latest version always available at jolicraft.com)
 Start Minecraft
 Select "Texture Packs" from the main menu
 Select "Open Texture Pack Folder"
 Minecraft's texture pack folder will open. You must drop the jolicraft zip in this folder.
 Go back to Minecraft. You'll now see Jolicraft in the texture pack list
 Be sure to check back often for updates! I add new stuff all the time.

Advanced Installation:
 Jolicraft comes with a bunch of extra features included, like custom sky and fog colours, custom animated water and lava, and random mob variations, and more. You can enable all these features by downloading a program called MCPatcher to patch your game. Once you patch, these features will work right away, no extra work needed.
 Download the latest version of MCPatcher from the official forum thread here (scroll down to the 'downloads' section): http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/232701-11-12w04aupdate-124-mcpatcher-hd-fix-232/
 Run MCPatcher. It will automatically fill in all the important stuff, like selecting your minecraft folder and enabling most features. From this main screen you can enable "Bettergrass", "Random Mobs", and "Custom Colors". Click the "Patch" button. It will Patch. Then, exit MCPatcher and start up Minecraft with much more custom Jolicraft goodness.
 This is the quick verison of how to install. If things go wrong or if you have any problems with MCPatcher, VISIT THE MCPATCHER THREAD for more detailed instrucitons and support. (aka, don't ask me how to do stuff, please)

CUSTOMIZATION:
===========================
 Did you know I have many alternate texture options to choose from, including all my seasonal varieties, at the Jolicraft Customizer? It's here: http://minecraftcustomizer.net/pack/Jolicraft.

SUPPORT:
===========================
 You can always find the latest version and up-to-date info at jolicraft.com
 You can find me at my official thread here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=176793 . I have lots of fun stuff going on all the time, like contests, sneak peaks, and random crazyness. Stop by and say "Hi", or "I love Jolicraft", or "Hey, I'm your long lost twin brother" (if applicable).

ABOUT JOLICRAFT:
===========================
My name is Jolicoeur, so I called it Jolicraft. It's pronounced "Jolly Craft" by the way. My name means "Happy Heart", so I guess Jolicraft means "Happy Craft". So maybe I should have called it HappyCraft, because I'm generally quite happy. But I'm not always happy. Sometimes I run out of wine. Sometimes there's no hot water for my bath. Sometimes when I'm changing my son's diaper, he pees on me.

Minecraft is a game about crafting the world around you. What better way to craft the world than to craft the very stuff the world is made of? I had a great time creating Jolicraft, it's so addictive to create textures and see them live in your own world. I didn't really intend to push the pack as far as I did, but damn this shit is addictive. It's as addictive as Minecraft itself, which is saying alot.

This is Minecraft people. As with life, don't take it too seriously. A good plentiful helping of Jolicraft will wash the dust away from your dreary world.

Love,
~Andre'
